World Breastfeeding Week

World Breastfeeding Week is celebrated August 1-7 (Learn about it)

As our little celebration I want to share a beautiful picture of us, my husband took this shot a couple of weeks ago during nap time.

I love how their hands are one on top of the other, they usually do a little paying with their hands before they fall a sleep and some times you can see them holding hands while they sleep.

Gabriel was about finish breast feeding so he is not latching on well.

Retail-Boutique Princing Comparission.

I'm copying this from a friend at TBW.com

A Pair of Sneakers Based on an $80 Selling Price

Materials..............$1
Assembly Labor....$3
Shipping................$1
Price to Retailer......$40 (Manufacturer keeps $35 for Sales & Marketing)
Price to Consumer....$80(Retailer keeps $40 for selling the shoes to you)

This is So Not what my figures look like.

Just an idea of how things work for designers and boutique owners, designers don't usually buy supplies in large quantities so the materials are a lot more expensive, designers -if- pay labor what is worth, a lot more than what it costs in China, designers don't usually keep such a large profit because of these reasons, wholesale is usually 40% off instead of 50% just because the price would add up to so much.
Now why is it that unique things seem so expensive, because they cost a lot to the person producing them, because they are made in very small amounts unlike mass produced products.
