Presenting our new Packing bags!

I'm so exited about these bags, I order a couple of hundreds of zipper bags and we had some insert card professionals made for the AngelPacks, I think our customers are going to love when they get their carrier in this nice packaging system.

The insert car has a picture of Angelica at 13 months old and me (of course *eye roll*) this is one of my favorite pictures, and the fabric of the carrier is also one of my favorite prints in AngelPacks, it's a brocade silky that was sold out, but oh I got lucky! when I found some more at Joanns.

It's My Birthday!

I just realized is my birthday! July 15 1:00 am,
Midlife crisis here I come!

I must start exercising, I must stop eating brownies, I must start exercising, I must stop eating brownies, I must start exercising, I must stop eating brownies.

I was about to go to bed but just had to blog this, with my baby on me “nursing” and about 30 minutes ago my daughter had her round at nursing… because if I’m not in bed they will wake up until I go to sleep with them. Yeah! The fun part of being an attached parenting mom!

Before I had my kids I was proud of many things, like my size 0 ward rope, now I’m proud of having made this two precious little people who I love so much. And just because is my birthday, and I need to spoil myself a little, and I need a gorgeous diaper bag to go with my two gorgeous babies, I got myself the Lexie Barnes Darling, in the Makiko print, I can’t wait to get it!

Jus for fun I’m posting two pictures of me before I became pregnant with my daughter and the most recent picture of me nursing my son Gabriel.

La Leche League Meeting!

Breastfeeding Angie (day 1) 2 years and 8 ago.

Last Monday was so much fun, we went to our first ever LLL meeting, we got to meet so many cute babies and toddlers and an awesome bunch of moms! I took my camera to take pictures but totally forgot about it.
Angie and Gabriel had so much fun playing around with the kids. I felt really good to see other mamas breastfeeding and supporting breastfeeding and co-sleeping, I guess it’s good to know we aren’t the only ones trying to nurture our kids in a more natural way, we are not the only ones trying to make a difference.

I think this is going to be one of those things that I will set a time to, I really believe in the cause and I think it’s great to get to meet and encourage others to do the same.

La Leche League has an official web site where you can meet other woman from your area or all around the world and give and receive support about breastfeeding your child, web site is LaLecheLeague.org

Redesign Traditional Twist AngelPack.

I finally have been getting time to do things like sew! Angie is letting me stay in here longer without burning the house down! (That’s a joke) I feel better too, more creative! And just may be about finished with the new baby carrier design that I have been working on for over a year! (Eye rolls) well, after I was almost done about a month or two ago, I found another one with a very similar look so I had to change it around, again! Fun times! Now is trial and testing time.
In the other hand I'm back to making one of my favorite carrier creations, I love how this one looks. It's the Traditional Twist AngelPack. After working close to professional seamstress I found the way to make it without breaking my neck and back aliening everything from the outside.
I think next I will be move on to work that Diaper bag that has been hanging on the shelf for almost 6 months, I been working on the sketches but need to get to the fabric store for supplies to make a new sample with the new features I added. I love working on different things, making things other that the same old thing all the time.
This Style AngelPack will soon be available at www.attachedtobaby.com Angela has picked out some gorgeous fabrics for her custom Twist AngelPacks.

Beauty Tips! Straightening Hair.

What else I did for me today? I fixed my hair.

What I used:

• Conair Blow Dryer (so old!).
• Large hallow center round brush (very large for long hair)
• My new puppy the Conair 2” plate Ceramic iron (the straightening one)

What I did:

Using the brush and the blow dryer I dried my hair, very lightly not stressing about straightening, just softening the curls.
Then with a clip I separated my hair into two sides, and starting from the bottom of my hair I used the iron to straighten the hair, I set the iron at 20 and pull the hair straight, I repeated one small section at a time.

My hair looks shiny and straight! I forgot to add that I wash it with *Bath and Body Works* Shampoo and conditioner, they were on sale two weeks ago

Beauty Tips! Shaping your Eye Brows .

These are my new Eyebrows.

My Not so good ones.
Ahhh Today was all about me, well kind of.

What I did today:
After running around with some hairy eyebrows for almost 2 months, I did my brows!
I saw some pictures of old-young- me and remember how much I liked my eyebrows back then, I made a little boo boo with my brows some time ago and then kept shaping them according to that boo boo... but seeing my pictures made me decide to walk around with a bushy face, he he he!

My Old Eyebrows
What I used:
*Small Brush.
*Revlon Tweezers (I found their black one grabs on to the hair better others)
*Small Scissors (I used my tiny cutting/sewing Scissors)
*GiGi all purpose honee microwave formula hair removal system (17.99 at sally)

What I did:

First I brushed my brows in the shape I wanted them, some baby talk is good to help mark the shape and prevent burning, but I didn't use any.
Second I use the tweezers to pull out the hairs in the tricky areas so that the wax wouldn't go too close and mess up the shape Again!
Third I used the Wax, I cut one of the small sticks in half to get into the small curve. I use my Scissors to cut small strips of fabrics, apply the fabric, held my skin super tight and pull, Auch! no really it didn't hurt that much. I use almost all of the product in my GiGi kit.
Fourth, I brushed the hair and cut the ones that were to long, then I used the tweezers to touch up.

I love my brows! so much that I took a picture to post, lol!

Our March Fluffy Fluff.

I remember when I took this pictures to blog about our big march fluffy mail, ha ha! Well in short, we got our baby legs, I had to see them in those, so I order a couple, here are my babes in the rainbow and the pink stripes baby legs.
The back-grown is our bed with the fluffiest fluff, our new bedding set that I bought from smart www.bargain.com, what a steal!

We have Birdies!

Did I not post about the birdies? ha-ha! I guess not.

We now own a couple of birds, they are so cute, Angie loves them, she feeds them and kisses them goodnight, and when is raining she always wants me to take them out for a bath, go figure! The goodnight kiss has become a bed time routine, not bad! It lets her know that even the birdies go to sleep at night, and anything that helps us have her in bed by 9-9:30 is a plus.
If you know anything about birds indoors and kids, that I should be concern about, please email me  I’m all for free birds in the wild but this little ones would die out in the heat!

Mamma!

Mi baby boy can say mamma! I can't believe it! That was his first word, not bah bah, not da da, but “mamma!” ha!
This is how it happened, a couple of weeks ago, I was in the floor with him trying to show him the one sylaba word thing where you repeat so they start to repeat, so I start with ma-ma, ma-ma, he could only move his lips without making any sound. Well the next day I'm in the middle of the room with him, my daughter and husband are watching TV on the sofa. I had to go to the kitchen for something and I walked away from Gabriel, and that's when he started to try and crawl after me and bubbled out “Mamma!” calling for me, we all heard him and where all so exited! but I was must exited of all, he-he! My daughter called out our dog first, then dada and then mama, I was the last one

Holly Rolie Polie Olie!!

I can't believe I haven't post in such a long time. Oh My God! he he! I've been meaning to seat down and write something, but it's not that easy with a toddler on my lap. However because I don't want to just abandon this blog, I'm going to try and fill in some blanks before my kids turn 18, ha ha!

My Carrier Fairy.

What is the carrier fairy?

It's funny, the carrier fairy is like a secret Santa, it goes on at thebabywarer.com. A group of mommas get together (virtually) and exchange gifts; this goes on all year round! It’s so much fun to pick a gift to give and wait and see what you get! the gifts are centered around baby carriers but there is a lot of other fun stuff that have been gifted, like nursing ware and cute baby stuff, one of the hot latest one is the babylegs and staceyz nursing necklaces, as well as diaper bags and others, including the cutest mom made, hand made gifts.

It's so much fun to play, and hear all the stories from other moms and see all the pictures of friend's babies opening their fluffy! I especially love when the mail man is being stalked! These mamas are hilarious! I’m always looking like a loony when my husband hears me laugh out loud at the computer's monitor!

Well, I received my fairy gift last week, just on time for Valentine's Day! It was a beautiful periwinkle sling set, the whole shebang!!!! I got two pouches and a support, this carrier is genius! I can carry my baby in the pouch or do a wrap time of carrier/backpack/front pack, so versatile, you can get them at www.theslingset.com, my only problem is that now I want a red set even more! I'm dying to get one of those.

I just want to make sure, to say thank you to my fairy, for this wonderful gift, it was so generous of you to find the perfect carrier for us! Thank you!

What’s going on!

My friend Sandy from MommyCouture.com/ asked me to blog something because she wants to know what’s going on with us, well Sandy, this one is for you!

The last couple of weeks have been oh so hard on me, my two year old is driving me nuts, she is just plain being two now in days. When I’m the computer she will come and turn it off on me or even on daddy! This is so frustrating since I can only get to the computer for a few minutes and now just seconds, thanks to her!

Toys! Toys! Toys! Her toys are everywhere, despite the fact that I hide most of them! What ever is not necessary I just put away and she won’t see for a couple of days, but still she likes to have everything spread out in the middle of the room, so I have to pick up about 100 times a day! Then there is the kitchen where she loves to help out! She specially loves to dust everything, yeah with dusts of chocolate and/or sugar all over the countertops! It’s so hard to keep up with her since I have to nurse the baby constantly and change diapers every few hours, and move him around so he doesn’t get bored of one place. He is such a good baby!

This past three weeks I realized that I won’t be able to work as I did before, not even half! Ewwwww! I had so many plans for this new year, and I’m still not set up to get my web site ready to run, I don’t know if I will be able to get custom orders either, it would be so difficult to try to have things out by X date. On the other hand I feel so creative, so many new ideas and new things I would love to do, designing and creating things is so much fun!, especially after midnight when the babies are a sleep.

I can’t do much chatting this days, all thus I do read posts and when if I have the time and something to say I try to post before Angie hits the power button off, some times I can come back some times I just forget what I was going to do and by the time I’m up there is no point on me posting, sorry girls!

High Fever.

Angie has been running a high fever, yesterday she was so clingy, she spent all day sleeping or fussing and wanting to be hug, there was a big rain storm and she kept waking up and calling me or running to me, "Mommy I'm Scared" and "Hug, Hug" is all she could say yesterday, she only asked to go to the park once, I can't believe it! she usually asks all day. I think she is getting better as today she is more active, hopefully she didn't catch anything from the other kids at the park.

Happy Second Month Birday to my little Gaby!

I just noticed the date and today is Gabriel's second month's birthday! He is such a big boy and he is such a good baby, its a blessing that he is such a little angel because Angelica is taking all the energy out of me.

Monday Again.

Monday again.

6:00 am time for daddy to get up and ready to go. After eating breakfast he is out the door - Angie didn't wake up to say goodbye today as she usually does, so I took Gabriel to the car to kiss him Good bye.

Time to check emails and forums.

While I'm checking messages and browsing around, I nursed Gabriel to sleep, my sweet baby! Then Angie she gets up and comes up to me quietly and seats on my lap, to nurse, yes she is STILL BREASTFEEDING!

My Breastfeeding girl!

Angelica and Gabriel look so cute cuddleling together, she wants to carry him and usually tells me he is "Too Heavy". So while they are laying down on the floor on top of her favorite quilt and pillows, I come to the computer, ugh, got it check on her because she thinks the baby can play like she does, so not a minute has passed when I go out the door to check on them. And, Oh My God! Oh My God! Angie is seating down with her top off and had managed to put the baby on her lap and was trying to breast feed him, hehehehehe it was so funny! And the baby was so quiet, when I asked what she was doing she tell me mommy "teta" (breasts in Spanish) that means she wants to nurse the baby. I guess she is learning from mommy!

This was totally the highlight of my day, that and at night she brushed her teeth and hands on her own while I took care of the baby.

At last my blog!

Finally! I got it, I made at least what can be de beginning of my family life blog, it's incredible, but for the last two years, ever since I had Angie, I wanted one of these web pages to talk about my life as a mother, ummm... never figured how to make one of these thingies, lol! now here I am with baby #2 and a blooming business and maybe too little time to even write anything.

Life is Beautiful! growing a family makes things even better, even when you are going nuts to take care of everyone and everything, or when you 2 year won't stop throwing the toys around or calling you name a thousand times per day. When is time to go to bed and you realize how precious family is, how much you can love your child, it makes everything worth it, they look even better when they are a sleep, hehehe.

Well now, it's Sunday, hubby is cutting the grass and Angie is outside with him, the baby is taking a nap an mommy (that's me!) should get back to doing laundry and picking up the house, so I guess this is it for today.

Back to being a mom. For now you can check us our site out at www.angelpack.com and www.attachedtot.com
